What is proof-of-post?
Proof-of-post anchors a SHA-256 hash of each published post to the Algorand blockchain as a 0-ALGO payment with the hash in the transaction note. The post body never leaves our database — only a one-way hash is on-chain — but anyone with the original post can verify a match years later. It's a tamper-proof timestamp for content provenance.
How does TheMarketingMachine anchor my posts to Algorand?
After you publish a post, your wallet signs a 0-ALGO self-payment whose note field contains tmm-proof:sha256:<hash>. Algorand confirms the transaction in under three seconds. We store the resulting transaction ID alongside the post so you (and anyone else) can verify the anchor on a public explorer. See recent on-chain anchors.
Is it actually free?
Yes — the Free tier (no credit card) covers manual composing, LinkedIn publishing, and optional proof-of-post anchoring forever. Anchoring costs fractions of a cent per post in Algorand network fees; 1 ALGO ($0.20) covers thousands of proofs. Paid tiers ($19 Pro, $39 Power) add AI generation, strategy, and outreach features.

Do I need a wallet to use it?
Yes for sign-in — TheMarketingMachine uses an Algorand wallet (Pera, Defly, Exodus, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet) as a passwordless login. The wallet is free, sign-in is free, and you can publish without ever moving funds. A wallet purchase is only required if you opt in to anchor a specific post on-chain. More on wallets in the FAQ.
